Progressive with a Punch XL with Shaun Mynett
Following twelve monthly instalments of his monthly show, Shaun Mynett presents a very special Progressive With A Punch XL on Tuesday 21st June 2011.

As a DJ in his own right, Shaun’s established himself as a regular for events up and down the UK, including one of the UK’s most unique, and exciting club brands, ElectronicSessions, where he’s now a resident, and the host of their monthly podcast, which you can download from I Tunes. He’s played warm up and peak time sets alongside some of the EDM scene’s most celebrated names, including Matt Darey, Ronski Speed, Andy Duguid, Riley & Durrant, Sonny Wharton, Genix, and more. His punchy, but melodic progressive vibes are received nothing but praise since he joined the station, back in June 2010, making this first birthday a real milestone.

When faced withthe challeange of putting together an extended episode of Progressive With A Punch, Shaun felt it would be too easy to simply put a two hour mix together, so, in addition to his regular sixty minute snap shot of his CD wallet, Shaun called up a couple of friends to help him out...

First up, Tom Fall. Tom’s become one to look out for, since his melodic-euphoric debut, “Cubic”, debuted on Anjunadeep 02, mixed by James Grant, and Jaytech, early 2010. Since then, he’s become a regular contributor to one of the show’s most featured labels, Silk Royal, and he mixed their first compilation, Silk Royal Showcase 01, featuring several of his own productions.

Guest number two, Paul Thomas, needs no introduction. He’s the only global resident for Gods Kitchen, has mixed compilations for them, and Mark Knight’s Toolroom Records, and his recent single, “Ultraviolet” is, without doubt, one of the biggest tracks of 2011 so far.

Do not miss two hours of the finest progressive music around, all lovingly put together by three of our favourite DJs.
